John Lewis

John Harold Lewis, 94, passed away October 2, 2013. John was born on September 2, 1919 in Baltimore, MD to the late Clara and John Lewis, Sr. and lived in the Glen Burnie area for the past 54 years. He was a veteran of World War II and served in Germany where he was wounded in action and received a Purple Heart. He was a lifetime member of the D.A.V. Post 13. John retired from Westinghouse in 1980 and his favorite past time was golf and baseball.
John is survived by his wife Doris; his children, Linda L. McDonald and her husband Ted, Mary M. Lewis and Timothy R. Lewis. He is also survived by his sister-in-law, Emily R. Lewis.
