John Martin

John A. Martin, 79, a resident of Glen Burnie for 23 years, passed away peacefully at his home on November 15, 2014 after a long illness. John was born on November 19, 1934 in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John P. and Hazel F. Martin. He enlisted in the United States Army and was honorably discharged in August 11, 1952 due to medical reasons. He was a friend of the American Legion Howard Turner Post 276 and enjoyed having lunch with them. John was also an avid reader and loved people.
John is survived by his wife of 30 years, Elizabeth; four children, Mike James and his wife Linda, Philip Martin and his wife Nancy, Kathleen Dubel and her husband Mark and Maureen Della Barba and her husband Joe; seven grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
