John Scott Norton Jr., 68, of Pasadena, passed away on March 4, 2018. He was born in Baltimore to Mary E. and the late John S. Norton Sr. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany for three years. He was a member of the American Legion and enjoyed writing poetry, reading Stephen King books and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his mother, Mary E. Laster and her husband, John; brother, Larry A. Norton Sr. and his wife, Cheryl; nephews, Larry A. Norton Jr. and Michael A. Norton; and his great-niece, Kendall A. Diesel. He is also survived by many extended relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Tuesday, March 6th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
