John Ratlief

John B. Ratlief, 75, of Davis, WV and previously of Severn, MD died on January 17, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. John was born in 1936 in Fort Seybert, WV. He served in the US Army from 1964-1966. John worked as a Manager of the Auto Center at Sears. He enjoyed reading, skiing, hiking, and spending time with his grandchildren. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Carol Ratlief; two children, John Ratlief and wife Lori, and Michele Nickerson and husband Matthew; eight grandchildren, Philip Ratlief, and Samuel, Lemuel, Daniel, Nathaniel, Benjamin, Olivia and Timothy Nickerson; and three brothers, Edgar, Roy and David Ratlief. He was preceded in death by his sister Violet Vanvander.
