John August Regan III, 68, of Glen Burnie, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center on November 14, 2023. He was born in Baltimore, to the late Evelyn Anna and John August Regan II. He was the owner of JA Regan Meats at Lexington Market with his father. After they sold the business, he went on to become a bus driver for B&B and Miller Transportation. John enjoyed vintage cars, watching classic tv shows, and was a fan of Elvis Presley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Erica Regan.
John is survived by his beloved wife of 28 years, Pamela L. Regan; loving children, John A. Regan IV, Joseph Winkler III, Shannon Marie Schwartzman, Cheryl Ann Troyer, and Stephanie Alima Chraiji; cherished grandchildren, Bradley Schwartzman, Savannah Schwartzman, M. Shabaz Mahmood Jr., Joseph Winkler IV, Jose Salazar, Jacob Troyer, Matthew Troyer, Jayden Shelton, Ethan Shelton, James Winkler, Daishawn Shelton, Richard Schwartzman, Joshua Schwartzman, Philip Schwartzman and Tyler Schwartzman; caring great-grandfather of Mia Salazar; and dear brother of Eric A. Regan and Jeannie A. Fox.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, Nov. 21st, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 10 AM, in the funeral home chapel. Interment to follow at Loudon Park Cemetery. Donations may be made in his name to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org or the American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org.
