John Mcdonald

On February 11, 2008, John T. McDonald passed on. John was dearly loved by his darling wife of 50 years, Johanna McDonald; his dear brother, Vernon P. McDonald; and his late parents, Catherine L. Curtis and John Thomas McDonald. John was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1918. He was a resident of Charlotte Hall Veterans Home for 2 years. Prior to that, he was a resident of Glen Burnie, Maryland for 50 years of his life. John was a member of the United States Army for 24 years after which he worked for the United States Government. While in the Army, John earned the Army Good Conduct Medal, the Army Commanders Award and the Armed Forces Reserve Medal. John was a a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, the Veterans Corp and American Legion Post 0040. He enjoyed many hobbies including collecting coins and stamps. He was also interested in geneology. John was a good man who will be missed by many.
