John Towles

On January 5, 2011, JOHN E. TOWLES of Pasadena. Beloved husband of the late Carmella "Pat" Towles; devoted father of John B. Towles and Sharon A. Henn; loving grandfather of four; cherished great-grandfather of one; dear brother of Kenny Towles, Delores Cole, and Duke Towles. John was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late John M. and Margaret Towles. He graduated from Baltimore City College and served in the United States Army, April 1945-November 1946. He was employed with Baltimore Salesbook Co. from 1944-1945 and again from 1947-1951. John went on to work with Westinghouse in 1951 and retired as an Inspector in 1986. He was very active with the Masonic Lodge #189, where he served as Past Master; he was also a member with IBEW and affiliated with the Eastern Star, Chapter 82. John enjoyed sports, especially football, an avid fan of the Baltimore Colts and Ravens, fishing, bowling, and Maryland crabs.
