John Turner

On January 31, 2007, John H. Turner of Glen Burnie passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Beloved husband of 58 years to Rose T. Turner; devoted father to Deborah Fisher, Judith Turner, Tracy Pankey, and Terry Lammey; dear brother to Robert W. Turner, Sr., Patricia Fine, and the late Dorothy Randall; caring grandfather of 15 and cherished great grandfather of 18. Mr. Turner served in the United States Army and received a WW II Victory Medal and Army of Occupation Medal Japan. He belonged to the Red Man Tecumseh Tribe 108 and served as the Keeper of the Wampum. In his spare time, John greatly enjoyed reading, watching television, grocery shopping, and spending time with his friends and neighbors, especially his family. He will be greatly missed.
