John Waldman, Sr

On November 17, 2008, John "Will" W. Waldman, Sr. of Ferndale; beloved husband of Doris M. Thomasson Waldman; devoted father of Lois A. Bickerton and John W. Waldman, Jr.; loving brother of the late Carl Waldman. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Will was born in Crisfield, Maryland in 1922. He graduated from high school. He was a Private First Class in the First Battalion, 330th Infantry during World War II. He was a Supervisor with Western Electric. He was with the company for 39 years. Will was a member of the Telephone Pioneers. He had many hobbies in life including golf, tinkering with cars and bowling. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He also liked to travel.
