On May 19, 2010 JOHN DOUGLAS WINTERS, JR. passed away at his home after a long illness. John was born in Cumberland, MD to the late John D. Winters, Sr., and Orlena Neall Winters. He was employed with McLean Construction Company for 30 years. John was very active with the Prince George's County Trap and Skeet Center and the ATA (Amateur Trapshooting Association). For the past three years, John has been president of the Southern Maryland Winter Trap League. In addition to being a gun enthusiast, he also enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening, and yard work.
