Johnny "Harold" Cowger, Sr.

        On Saturday, October 12, 2024, Johnny “Harold” Cowger, Sr. of Linthicum, MD passed away peacefully at his home. Beloved husband of Nellie “Juanita” J. Cowger; loving father of John H. Cowger, Jr. and his wife, Karen, Jeff L. Cowger and his wife, Sandra, Jeanne A. Steinhice and her husband, Jimmy and Joan L. Cowger (Mark); devoted grandfather of Vincent, Valerie, Julie, Courtney, Jimmy, III and Jenna; cherished great-grandfather of Jordan, Destinee, Jillian, Savanna, Cash, Kayden and Karson; and dear great-great-grandfather of Justin, Jaylen and Kamree. Mr. Cowger was also a father figure to many loving nieces, nephews and other family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Emma and Henry Cowger; and his siblings, William, Viola, Raymond, Eddie, Catherine, Bessie, Jesse and Mary.

         Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 2nd Avenue, SW ,(at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 from 10:00 am till the start of the Celebration of Life Funeral Service at 12:00 Noon. His Graveside Service and Interment will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park, Glen Burnie, MD where Mr. Cowger will receive Military Honors. If desired, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the Shriners.
