Joseph Armstead Jr

Joseph (Rusty) Avon Armstead Jr. was born on August 20, 1947 and departed this life on June 5, 2012 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. He was the son of the late Joseph Avon Armstead Sr. and Eleanor Louise Scott Armstead. He was educated in the Anne Arundel County School System. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War as a Specialist and was honorable discharged. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. Rusty's hobbies included collecting guns and breeding beagles.


Rusty is survived by one daughter: Tera Neriece Daniels of Arnold, MD; one son: Joseph Avon Armstead III of Brooklyn, MD; two grandsons: Brendan James Daniels and Joseph Avon Armsted IV; two granddaughters: Bree Neriece Daniels and Nya B. Armstead; one brother: Joey Privitt; four aunts: Barbara Queen (George), Eura Howard (Joseph), Alberta Gaither (Donald), Nadine Armstead; one uncle: William Armstead Jr. (May) and a host of other relatives and friends.
