Joseph Burroughs

On August 12, 2008, Joseph Allen Burroughs of Ellicott City, Maryland. Beloved husband of Mary Burroughs. Devoted father of Kristine and Jack Burroughs. Loving son of Arlene Burroughs and the late James Burroughs. Cherished grandfather of Korey Yeldell and Anjulese Burroughs. Caring brother of Marie Herrmann, Patricia Edwards and her husband, Bobby, Dee Upton and her husband Gary. Joseph was born in Washington, D.C. in 1950. He was a member of the United States Marine Corps from 1969 to 1971. During his service, he achieved the rank of Lance Corporal and was awarded a National Defense Service Medal. Joseph studied to be a Technician. He later worked as an Electronic Technician and a Solid State Technician with Northrop Grumman for many years. Joseph enjoyed many hobbies including fishing and crabbing.
