Joseph Camponeschi

JOSEPH (Joe) CAMPONESCHI, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, resident of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully on June 26, 2021, at the age of 66 in the wonderful care of Hospice of the Chesapeake (Pasadena, MD).

Joe is survived by his wife Camille C. Latini and four children, Christopher Camponeschi (Tracy), Chad Camponeschi (Charlene), Brandy Camponeschi (Joseph Marshall) and Antonio Camponeschi.  Four siblings Gary Camponeschi (Robin), Rosemarie Sandlin (Tom, deceased) Yvonne Purvis (John) and Mark Camponeschi (Theresa), as well as grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.  He is predeceased by his Mother Lorraine Camponeschi (Bisesi) and Father Raffaele Camponeschi.

Joe was born in Baltimore MD, on April 12, 1955, to Lorraine and Roy, Joe was third born to five children. Though Joe never spoke much on his childhood, some would say his life truly started when he became a father. In 1973, Joe was blessed with his first-born son, Christopher. In 1974, Joe would be graced with another son, Chad. Four years later, Joe would be gifted with his first and only daughter, Brandy in 1977. He married Camille Latini on December 6, 1991, in Annapolis MD. In 1995, Joe and Camille would welcome their first child, Antonio. Joe worked as a Settlement Processor for Heritage Title and Escrow Co. In Washington DC for most of his career.

Joe was a loving, caring husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. Joe lived life to the fullest with the simplest pleasures; fishing, card playing with friends and family, wading in the pool with his family and his scratch offs. Most of all, Joe loved any moment he had with his loved ones, whether it be a quick visit to the house, a phone call on the way home, a funny email or a cookout followed with a few rounds of Kan-Jam. Joe loved sharing memorable moments with the ones he held closest to his heart. Joseph Camponeschi will truly be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held at Singletons Funeral Home, 1 2nd Avenue SW, Glen Burnie, MD  21061 on July 24th from 11am -1 pm and 2-4 pm to reminisce, grieve, support each other and, of course just chat.
