Joseph Vernon Green

         On Wednesday, August 16, 2023, Joseph “Joe” Vernon Green of Prince Frederick, MD, formerly of Annapolis, MD passed away peacefully with family by his side. Beloved husband of Paula J. Green, loving father of Kelley M. Barone, Kristen M. Donnelly and her husband Marty and Joey V. Wyrostek and her husband Fred. Devoted grandfather of Michael, Alexandra, Griffin, Peyton, Elizabeth and Ella; Great-Grandfather of Rory, Maddox and Salvatore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Joe was preceded in death by his parents; Cordelia and Vernon Green, his sister  JoAnn Smith and his devoted companion “ Hannah”. 

         Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, PA, 1 Second Avenue, SW ( at Crain Highway), Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Sunday, August 27, 2023 from 2 to 4 pm and 6 to 8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, August 28, 2023 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 7438 Baltimore & Annapolis Boulevard, Glen Burnie, MD 21061 at 12:00 noon. Graveside Service and Interment to follow at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road, Crownsville, MD 20678 where Mr. Green will receive Military Honors. Mr. Green served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and received a Purple Heart Medal.
