Joseph A. Miklasz, 71, of Crownsville passed away on April 14, 2013 at Stella Maris. Joseph was born in 1942 in Baltimore, MD. He graduated from Mount St. Joseph High School, University of Miami, and the University of Baltimore Law School. Joseph was the owner and operator of the Law Offices of Joseph A. Miklasz in Glen Burnie. He was the President of the Maryland Association of Justice, President of the Kiwanis Club, President of the St. Thomas Moore Society, President of Anne Arundel Bar Association, and Member of the American Association for Justice. Joseph served in the Peace Corps. from 1963-1965 and went to Liberia. He also represented (Pro Bono) the American Indians at Wounded Knee. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Hanan Miklasz; two sons, Jozef Miklasz and Zane Miklasz; and sister, Mary Ann Macaluso. He was preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Glodek; and brother, Bernard Miklasz.
