Joseph Singleton

On July 25, 2008, Joseph Glenn Singleton of Hanover, PA, formerly of Glen Burnie. Beloved husband of 59 years to Olga Singleton; loving father of Glenn L. Singleton and the late Dennis E. Singleton. Joseph was born in Creighton, Pennsylvania in 1929. He was a member of the U.S. Air Force from 1948 to 1950. He was then a member of the U.S. Army Reserve from 1950 to 1961 as a Military Policeman. During his career, Joseph was employed by Kennecott Copper Company in Curtis Bay and Wise Metals in Lansdowne. He was a member of the Mason Glen Burnie Lodge and the Carroll County Gun Club, of which he was a lifetime member. He was also a member of the Garrison Rifle & Pistol Association. He enjoyed many hobbies in life including woodworking, trap shooting and playing cards.
