Josephine Macnemar

On October 21, 2009, Josephine "Pete" Rittenhouse MacNemar, 92, of Catonsville, formerly of Linstead in Severna Park, passed on after a brief illness. She is survived by her brother-in-law and a number of nieces, nephews, and cousins. Pete will also be missed by her many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Thomas L. MacNemar. Pete was born in Baltimore, Maryland to the late Lloyd and Margaret Rittenhouse. She was employed with the State of Maryland for many years. Pete was a past member of Woods Memorial Presbyterian Church (Severna Park), and a former member of Indian Landing Boat Club in Millersville and Linstead Garden Club. She was a current member of Charlestown United Protestant Church. Pete was very active in the Charlestown community and participated in various card playing groups, cultural excursions, and travel opportunities.
