Judy Lee Myer

     Judy Lee Myer, 80, of Arnold, passed away at her home on December 15, 2023. Judy was born in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Julia and Elwood Hicks, Sr.  She was a graduate of Brooklyn Park High School and went on to work for N.S.A. and the railroad. She was a teacher and the Director of the Wee Center in Severna Park. Judy was a member of Severna Park Baptist since 1973 and was on the Reunion committee for Brooklyn Park High School.  She enjoyed visiting Williamsburg and Disney, loved reading, snowmen and anything to do with snow, watching game shows, arts & crafts, and playing the piano. But most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.

     Judy was predeceased by her devoted husband of 58 years, James O. Myer, Jr., as well as her dear brother, Bill Hicks.  She is survived by her loving children, Jodi Lynn Myer and James Steven Myer; her cherished grandchildren, Julia Marshall, Jacob Taylor Myer, and Sara Nicole Myer; her dear step-grandchildren, Seth and Rachel Pailet; and her cherished great-grandson, Devon Lee Marshall

      Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2^nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Wednesday, December 27^th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Thursday, December 28^th, at 1 PM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow at Meadowridge Memorial Park.  A reception to follow at Severna Park Baptist Church.
