June 22, 1933 — March 12, 2013

On March 12, 2013 Julia "Judy" M. Bright (nee Dixon), a 55 year resident of Linthicum, passed away at St. Agnes Hospital from complications after a courageous battle with Multiple Myeloma. She was born in Baltimore, MD on June 22, 1933 to the late William T. and Marie Christina Dixon. She enjoyed caring for her home, watching The Young & The Restless, Survivor, The Big Bang Theory and The Talk, gardening, playing cards, bowling and baking her famous chocolate chip cookies; but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Melvin Dixon and her husband, Jack Bright. She is survived by her children, Katherine Ready, Dennis Bright and Michael Bright; five grandchildren, Zachary, Kyla, Seth, Ethan and Andrew; and one great-grandson, Jackson. Donations may be made in her name to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation by visiting www.themmrf.org.
