Julian Eargle Sr

Julian R. Eargle, Sr., 87, of Glen Burnie, passed away peacefully at Mandrin Inpatient Care Center on June 10, 2015. He was born in Columbia, SC on November 28, 1927 to the late Sarah Elizabeth and William Roy Eargle, Sr. He graduated from the University of South Carolina and served in the United States Army. After being discharged from the Army, he was employed as a mechanical engineer with Westinghouse and retired after 40 years of service. Julian was a longtime member of Glen Burnie United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing golf, woodworking and scouting. In addition to his parents, Julian was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Patricia Clarke Eargle and his twin brother, William Roy Eargle, Jr. (Wild Bill). He is survived by his four children, Julian, Jr. and his wife Jean, Janet, Jeff and Jill; eight grandchildren, Alan, Drew, Lauren, Trish, Scott, Jackson, Juliana and Haley; and two great-grandchildren, Wilhelm and Elly.
