June Cooley

June Cooley passed away on August 18, 2017 at home surrounded by her loving family after a full, and vigorously independent life of 91 years.

Margaret June was born on June 16, 1926 to the late Herman Casper and Marguerite Emma (Neisser) Kraft in Baltimore. She married Wilbert Lawrence Cooley on June 16, 1945, together they raised their three daughters until Wilbert's passing in 1973. June worked for USF&G as a payroll clerk. June enjoyed, bowling, bingo, the casino, and reading. June loved family and always enjoyed parties, where she enjoyed dancing and being the, "Bell of the ball". June was a huge Baltimore Orioles fan from her childhood days growing up in South Baltimore. She was Lutheran and enjoyed attending Good Samaritan Lutheran Church in Lexington Park with her daughter.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son-in-law, Joseph Keys; granddaughter, Tracie Marcus; and brother, Willard Kraft.
She leaves to cherish precious and special memories her daughters, Gail Wathen, her husband, John, Paula Keys, and Diane Harvey, her husband, Jimmy; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchild.

Flowers may be sent to the Funeral Home. Memorial Contributions can be made to Hospice of St. Mary's County.
