Kathy Way O'Roark, 58, of Severn, formerly of Annapolis, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on November 29, 2014.
She enjoyed traveling, spending time with her grandchildren and loved shopping, steamed crabs and Friendly's ice cream.
Kathy is survived by her husband, Dale; four children, Shannon Fowler, Cindy O'Roark Lamartina, David O'Roark and Kathy O'Roark Johnson; eight grandchildren, Frank, Joshua, Steven, David, Caitlin, Emilee, Ashlee and Chase; five great-grandchildren, Kira, Lilly, Ella, Cierra and Hannah; and five siblings, Ella Haight, Doris Hance, Linda Waltz, Janet Stroup and Carl Way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl J. and Thelma Louise Way; and two sisters, Thelma and Anna.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place; Memphis, TN 38105.
