Kennard Fairchild

Kennard F. Fairchild, 85, of Winter Garden, FL, formerly of Glen Burnie, passed away on July 10, 2018. He was born in Greenup County, KY to the late Frederick and Juanita Fairchild. He served in the United States Navy and enjoyed crossword puzzles, stamp and coin collecting and was an avid reader. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, Garnet Elizabeth; and his sister, Carol Norwood.
Ken is survived by his children, Robin D. Mariano and her husband, Mark, Michael F. Fairchild and his wife, Sherri, Scott H. Fairchild and his wife, Cheryl, Dean C. Fairchild and his wife, Brenda; grandchildren, Holly Marie Burns, Kevin Michael Fairchild, Kyle Andrew Fairchild, Timothy Scott Fairchild, Bradley Harrison Fairchild, Rebecca Ann Fairchild, Martha Noel Fairchild and Elizabeth Noel Fairchild; great-grandchildren, Audrey Claire Burns, Olivia Grace Burns and Caleb Patrick Burns; and his sisters, Barbara Esser and Gayle Garvey.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Friday, July 20th, from 11am-1pm. A celebration of life service will immediately follow at 1PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Meadowridge Memorial Park.
