On October 30th, 2019, Kin Wee Chong passed away. He was born in Baltimore and grew up in Glen Burnie. He is a beloved son, brother, and uncle. Kin was a family-oriented person, that was devoted and loving to his mother. He spent his free time mentoring his nieces and nephews. He helped them with their homework and taught them how to drive. He was there for anything his family and friends needed. One of Kin’s favorite activities during the holidays involves playing board games and bowling with family. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Baltimore in Accounting. During his career, he worked in the finance department in the hospitality industry to being a property accountant for a commercial real estate development firm. Kin also had many hobbies: taking cruises, volunteering, attending Orioles and Ravens games, bowling, and photography. He leaves behind his mother, sister, two brothers, three nephews, two nieces, and two grand nieces. He was a loved person that will be sorely missed.
The family will receive visitors at the family owned Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Monday, Nov. 4th from 11AM-1PM with a Celebration of Life Service immediately following at 1PM in the funeral home chapel. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park.
