On September 7, 2017, Kitty Rule Kuhn, 92, of Pasadena, passed away at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Kitty was born on October 22, 1924, in Haydentown, Pennsylvania, to the late Ethel and George Rule. She helped the war effort during World War II operating a drill press as a "Rosie the Riveter." She continued to work at Westinghouse for 40 years, until her retirement. Kitty loved traveling the world with her husband, playing the slots, BINGO, crocheting, and various activities at the Pasadena Senior Center.
Kitty was predeceased by her devoted husband of 58 years, Darrell T. Kuhn, Sr. She is survived by her loving children, Connie K. Payne and her husband Tom, and Darrell "Ted" Kuhn. Jr. and his wife Bonita; her cherished granddaughter, Jennifer Kunes and her husband Tom; and her beloved great-grandchildren, Ashlynn and Joshua.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave, SW (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, September 12th, from 3-5 and 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, September 13th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Kitty's name may be made to Linthicum Heights United Methodist Church, 200 School lane, Linthicum, MD 21090.
