Larry Lloyd

Larry L. Lloyd, 65, a 35 year resident of Severn died on May 10, 2011 at Baltimore Washington Medical Center. Larry was born in Spirit Lake, IA in 1945. He earned a BS Degree from Iowa State and a Masters from Johns Hopkins in Electrical Engineering. Larry worked as an Electrical Engineer at Northrop Grumman for 30 years. He served in the US Navy from 1964-1968 on the USS Intrepid. Larry was a member and Elder of the Session of Harundale Presbyterian Church and a member of American Legion Post 276 in Severn. He enjoyed trading stocks, watching Navy Football, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother, Bob Lloyd. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Janet Lloyd; his two children, Amy Neuberg and husband Carter of Falls Church, VA, and Douglas Lloyd and wife Sonya of Halethorpe, MD; his parents, Glea and Twylla Lloyd of Spirit Lake, IA; his two grandchildren, Gus and Max Neuberg of Falls Church, VA; his siblings, Marty Moore of Pearland, TX, Mark Lloyd of Tyler, TX, and Mary Trussell of Hanahan, S.C.
