On Sunday, March 19, 2023, Larry J. Radford of Pasadena, MD passed away peacefully with family by his side. He was born in Fairmont, West Virginia, to the late Larney and Jennie Radford.
Larry served honorably in the US Army during the Vietnam War from 1968-1970. He was also a devoted teacher and wrestling coach at both Andover and North County High School for over 30 years. As an avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed spending time both hunting and fishing.
Larry is survived by his devoted wife Diana of 50 years, his daughter Susanne and her husband Jay Krzcuik, his son Shawn and his fiance Jessica Walles, and his daughter Rachel and her husband Anthony Conciatori. He was the proud grandfather of Hannah, Olivia, Chloe, Parker, and Victor; and great- grandfather of Galaluna and Zero. He is also survived by his dear siblings, Barbara Wells, Joyce Tucker, and Timothy Radford; and many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to gather at the Singleton Funeral Home 1 Second Avenue, SW Glen Burnie, MD 21061 on Thursday, March 23rd from 5:00-8:00pm. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 24th at 10:00am. Larry’s inurnment service will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, Maryland at 1:00pm where he will receive military honors.
In lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in his name to the Maryland Veterans Cemetery Program, Maryland Department of Veterans Affairs, C/O MD Veterans Cemetery, 1122 Sunrise Beach Road Crownsville, MD 21032.
