Laura Messineo

On Monday, January 23, 2023, Laura Beth Messineo of Glen Burnie, MD passed away peacefully. Beloved wife of Steve Messineo and loving mother of Katherine E. Beam and her husband Michael. Sister of Pam McLaughlin and her husband Shawn, Robbie Kester and his wife Audra and Jill Thompson and her husband Donald. She is also survived by her devoted companion “Link” and many nieces, nephews and loving friends. Laura was preceded in death by her parents; Eugenia Palmer and Ronald Kester.
Laura Beth Messineo had a contagious zest for life that lead everyone to gravitate towards her, this includes every dog she ever met. Laura had an uncanny way of communicating with animals and small children, I believe they sensed her genuine loving and caring soul.
Laura’s kind heart created a warm and caring relationship with everyone who knew her. Laura could make a stranger feel special with her warmth. Laura’s family was her center. Having Laura as wife, mother, sister, aunt or friend was a precious gift.  We are all truly blessed having known and loved her and being known and loved by her in return.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Chesapeake Christian Center, 206 Weston Woods Dr, Pasadena, MD 21122, on Friday, February 3rd at 6pm.

In Lieu of flowers, Memorial Contributions may be made in her name to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, Memphis, TN.  An Inurnment will be held at a later date privately.
