Lawrence R. Barber, 58, of Severn, passed away suddenly on August 21, 2015. Larry was born on July 23, 1957 in Fowler, California to Betty Cook Barber and the late Donald Barber. He served his country proudly in the United States Army Signal Corps, retiring after 21 years of service as Sergeant First Class. Larry was an avid participant in World War II re-enactments, a three time County Commander of the American Legion, past officer with the Veterans of Foreign Wars and two time State Senate candidate. Larry was also a member of District 32 Republican Club, United Veterans of Anne Arundel and Herald Harbor Volunteer Fire Department, where he also served as county delegate. He also was an active volunteer with Project Liberty Ship in Baltimore.
Larry is survived by his wife, Rose A. Conrad; mother, Betty Barber and two sisters of Washington.
