Lawrence Meyer, Sr

Lawrence R. Meyer, Sr., 55, of Glen Burnie, previously of Baltimore and Westminister, passed away at his home after a courageous battle with lung cancer on March 14, 2011. He was born May 30, 1955 in Baltimore to the late John and Margaret Meyer. He served in the U.S. Navy Reserve, and made his career as an experienced handyman and painter. Larry enjoyed fishing and boating. He is survived by two sons, Larry Meyer and wife Katie of Hanover, Pa., and Tony Meyer of Reisterstown; one brother, John Meyer of Westminister; three sisters, Gerri Rottman of Glen Burnie, Janet Staude of Pasadena and Joan Young of Pasadena; one granddatughter, Jocelyn Meyer of Hanover, Pa.; and two nieces, Kelly Rottman and Wendy Graulich of Glen Burnie.
