Lemuel Jackson

On April 14, 2007, Lemuel "Jim" E. Jackson of Millersville passed away at the age of 86. Beloved husband of 33 years to the late Ruth E. Jackson; Loving father of Barbara A. Laughman, Evelyn M. Schisler and James L. Jackson Sr.; Dearest brother of Ruth Woods and Katherine Callhan; Cherished grandfather of 7, great-grandfather of 13 and great-great-grandfather of 5. He was predeceased by 4 brothers, 2 sisters and one grandchild. At one time Jim was a truck driver, but for the majority of his career he was a self-employed automotive mechanic. He was a member of the Maryland Western Horse Association and the Windy Knoll Horsemen. When he wasn't working on cars, Jim loved riding horses. It was truly his passion. He was a beloved man who will be missed by so many.
