Lennie Thomas Jr

On January 22, 2015, Mr. Lennie "Buddy" Thomas, Jr., of Glen Burnie, passed away at the University of Maryland Medical Center. Mr. Thomas was born on January 20, 1933 in Glen Burnie on Sycamore Lane, to Mr. Lennie R. Thomas, Sr. and Iva Adella Thomas. Lennie was a Budget Analyst for the Maritime Administration, working in the Chamber of Commerce Building in Washington, D.C. He served as a Coach and President of Marley Area Little League. Lennie was also a member of the Bay Hills Golf Club with 3 hole in one during his golfing career. Mr. Thomas was a big contributor to St. Jude's Research Center and other charities. He also enjoyed playing pool and cards, especially "Texas Hold'em"

Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife of 61 years, Joyce "Judy" Thomas. He is also survived by his son, Len R. Thomas, his daughter, Lisa Joyce Bentley and her husband Mark, his grandchildren; David Thomas, Dane Bentley, and Delaney Bentley, and his sister, Doloris Lowe.
