Leonard A. Daley, 83, of Linthicum, went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Baltimore to the late Benjamin F. and Mary C. Daley. He retired from the Army National Guard after 34 years of service. Len was an active member of Friendship Church of the Brethren. He loved his faith and his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Len was preceded in death by his daughter, Shirley Ann Danlag; and his siblings, Josephine Daley, Franklin Daley, Delores Domowski, Lawrence Daley and Mary Daley.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna C. Daley; devoted children, Mary Jo Prado, Lenora Hamburg and her husband, Eric, David Correa and his wife, Stephanie; cherished grandchildren, Francesca Prado, Christopher Danlag, Sarah Danlag, Leonard Mitchell, Meagan Cooper, John Mitchell, Jennifer Mitchell and Scott Danlag; loving great-grandchildren, Gage Mitchell, Ivy Rose Mitchell, Reagan Danlag, Leonard Mitchell Jr., Sophie Mitchell and Jacob Danlag; and dear sister, Bernadette Beichler.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, Glen Burnie, on Tuesday, Jan. 2nd, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Wednesday, 11 AM, at Friendship Church of the Brethren, 217 Mansion Road, Linthicum, 21090.
