Leonard Golas

June 10, 1919 — September 21, 2007

On Friday, September 21, 2007, Leonard Golas of Annapolis, formerly of Hanover, passed away at his home. He is survived by his cherished wife of 61 years, Bette M. Golas. He is survived by his two loving daughters, Nancy Lee Damberg and Donna Jean Kensicki and their husbands, Michael Damberg and Wayne Kensicki. He is also survived by his beloved granddaughter, Kristin Damberg and his dear sister Genevieve Stylc.
Leonard was born in Hanover and was in the U.S. Army from 1944-1946 and was awarded the Purple Heart. He worked at Westinghouse for 38 years as a hydraulic technician and was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Archbishop Keough Council. Leonard enjoyed gardening, camping, fishing, crabbing, traveling, and bee keeping.
