Lillian A. Carlisle Jackson

     Lillian Adaline Carlisle Jackson, 98, of Severna Park, passed away on January 5, 2024.  Lillian was born in Reisterstown, Maryland, to the late Anna and William Carlisle.  She was a graduate of Towson State University, earning her master’s degree in education.  Lillian went on to teach 5^th grade for 30 years at several elementary schools, the longest being Glendale Elementary.  She was a member of Pasadena United Methodist Church, and she loved spending time with her family and friends.

     Lillian was predeceased by her devoted husband, Charles Jackson, Jr., as well as her dear stepdaughter, Donna E. Marsh.  She is survived by her loving stepsons, Thomas Jackson, Sr. and his wife Jeannette, and Carl Jackson; her cherished grandchildren, Kathryn Charlow, Cynthia Gray, Thomas Jackson Jr., Amy, Jared,   and Laina Beshgetoorian, Walter Tilghman, and Frederick Fletcher Jackson; her adored great-grandchildren, Benjamin Charlow, Claire Charlow, Celine Gray, Ciana Gray, Logan Moore, Steven Moore, and Lily Jackson.

           Family and friends are invited to gather at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2^nd Avenue, S.W. (at Crain Hwy), in Glen Burnie, on Friday, January 12^th, from 2-4 & 6-8 PM.  A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, January 13^th, at 10 AM in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow at Glen Haven Memorial Park.
