Lillian Gloria Creel, surrounded by her loving family, passed away peacefully at her home in Glen Burnie, Maryland, on April 22, 2024. She was born on November 14, 1936, in Baltimore, Maryland, to the late Lillian and Roy Waddill.
Throughout her life, Lillian found joy and fulfillment in simple pleasures such as crocheting, crafting, decorating, and cooking. As a Catholic, she had unwavering faith in God. Her compassion for people and selfless devotion to family is how she will be remembered.
Lillian is survived by her beloved husband of 65 years, James D. Creel. Together they traveled the world, living and raising a family in numerous countries including the Philippines, Tiawan, and Japan (Okinawa). She is also remembered fondly by her children: Paul Creel, Linda O'Neill, Leonard Creel, and Denice Weaver. Lillian's legacy lives on through her cherished grandchildren: Bridget Creel, Sean Creel, Cameron Creel, Sean O’Neill, Rachel O'Neill, Leonard Creel Jr., Brandon Creel, Jacob Weaver, Christina Weaver, and Victoria Weaver. She was also blessed with her adored great-grandchildren: Cali Creel and Charlie Creel; as well as her dear brother, Kenny, and sister-in-laws, Barbara Waddill and Sharon Waddill.
In the remembrance of eternal love and companionship are also Lillian's deceased parents, Lillian and Roy Waddill. Among those awaiting a joyful reunion are her brothers, Donald, Albert, and Roy Waddill.
Lillian Gloria Creel will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. May she rest in peace knowing she was loved beyond measure.
A private family gathering will be held at a future date to celebrate her life and legacy.
