On October 20, 2011, Lois Violet Jeeter (nee Tate), beloved wife of Delmas L. Jeeter who predeceased her in 1983, and devoted mother of daughter Donna Joy Murphy who predeceased her in 2000. She is survived by her loving son Larry D. Jeeter and his spouse Barbara, of Ellicott City, MD, her son-in-law Edward Murphy of Seattle, WA, sisters; Audrey Striegel of Annapolis, MD, Erma Parmentier of Linthicum, MD, brothers; Donald Tate of Queenstown, MD, Creston Tate of Linthicum, MD, and Atwood (Barry) Tate of Crownville, MD. She was predeceased by sisters Christine Harnstrom, Edith Andrews and brother Wayne Tate. She is also survived by six grandchildren and their spouses; Shawn E. and Lisa Murphy, of Baltimore, Todd E. and Brocki Murphy, of Chicago, IL, Melanie and Stephen Kaiss of Linthicum, MD, Jarrod C. and Erin Jeeter of Ellicott City, MD, Lara J. and Joseph Mellendick of Catonsville, MD and Dane D. Jeeter of Columbia, MD. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
