Lorraine Thompson

Lorraine Anna Thompson, retired from A&P Supermarket, Dental Assistant and Seamstress, peacefully passed away November 15, 2016 at 92 years of age. Lorraine enjoyed dancing, (former Arthur Murray Instructor), singing and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Anna Amend, sister, Myrtle, brother, Charles, sister, Eva, son, Bud, grandson, PK, granddaughter, Jeannine, and her loving husband of 59 years, Henry. She is survived by her daughters, Geraldine (Jerry), and Charlene, son, Henry; 12 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren.

The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, 1 2nd Avenue SW (at Crain Hwy) Glen Burnie on Friday, November 25, from 3-5 & 7 to 9 pm. The Funeral Services will be held at 10 am, Saturday, November 26, 2016 at Singleton's. Interment will be at Holy Rosary Cemetery 7305 German Hill Rd. Dundalk, MD.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the Hospice of the Chesapeake for their support in Mom's final days. In lieu of flowers the family asks donations be made to either; Alzheimer's Disease Research or Hospice of the Chesapeake, 90 Richie Highway, Pasadena, MD, 21122.
