Lou Crist

Lou Ann Crist, 89, of Glen Burnie, went home to be with the Lord on March 4, 2018. She was born in Alexandria, VA to the late Conrad and Reba Hennessee. She was an associate broker / owner of Century 21 Crist Realty in Glen Burnie. Lou was a member and professional standards trainer of the National Association of Realtors, director of the MD Association of Realtors, past president of Anne Arundel County Association of Realtors, and was named realtor of the year for Anne Arundel County and the state of MD. Lou was an active member of Glen Burnie Baptist Church and was currently serving as Chairman of the Trustees. She also volunteered at Baltimore Washington Medical Center for many years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald R. Crist Sr.; and her sister, Betty Jo Balcom.
Lou is survived by her children, Donald R. Crist Jr. and Barbra, Connie Randel and Jon; and grandsons, Brian Crist and wife Sarah, Adam Crist and fiancée Isabel.
The family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., 1 2nd Ave. SW (at Crain Hwy) on Thursday, March 8th, from 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Visitation will also be held on Friday, beginning at 10 AM, at Glen Burnie Baptist Church, with a Celebration of Life service to follow at 11 AM. Interment Glen Haven Memorial Park. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to Glen Burnie Baptist Church Memorial Fund, 7524 Old Stage Road; Glen Burnie, MD 21061.
