Louis Bennett

On February 2, 2007, Louis E. Bennett of Pennsylvania, formerly of Millersville, passed away at the age of 98. Beloved husband of Evelyn E. Bennett for 64 years; Devoted father of Louis M. Bennett, Carol Jean Connors and the late Thelma Bennett, Eddie Bennett, Doris Nelson Schneider and Joan Brocato; Loving brother of William Bennett and the late Agnes Elffry, Audrey Gunkel and Florence Bennett; Cherished grandfather of 11, great-grandfather of 21 and great-great-grandfather of two. Born in Cambridge, Maryland, Louis lived in Millersville for over 25 years. Louis was self-employed and was a founder of the Diamond Cab Company in Baltimore. An entrepreneur, he also owned a night club, charter fishing boats and a taxi company. Louis was also a Mason. He enjoyed fishing, crabbing, traveling to Florida and especially enjoyed spending time with his family and grandchildren.
