Louise Richards Shaffer, 84, of Linthicum Heights, MD passed away on April 9, 2015. Louise was born in 1930 in Kingston, Pennsylvania. She worked as a Clerk at Korvettes and Smelkinson Food Distributors. Louise was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Linthicum, and a member of the church's bereavement group, and volunteered at Partners in Care. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, bus trips, Broadway shows, and spending time with her grandchildren and her great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glendon Shaffer; and her brother, Dixon Richards. She is survived by two sons, Dwight "Dutch" Shaffer and his wife Terri, and David Shaffer and his wife Roxanne; five grandchildren, Michael Shaffer and his wife Carol, Brett Shaffer, Lauren Shaffer, Melissa Wowk and her husband Daryl, and Meghan Connell; one great-granddaughter, Harper Grace Wowk; and numerous nieces and nephews that called her Aunt Weezie.
The family requests memorial contributions be made in her name to St. John's Lutheran Church, 300 W. Maple Road, Linthicum Heights, MD 21090.
