Lucille Kathryn Percival, 98, of Glen Burnie, passed away at her home on February 26, 2025. She was born in Sunbury, PA, to the late William and Mary Sheesley. She was a devoted Christian, reading her Bible daily. For many years, Lucille prayed for those on the Holy Trinity's Prayer Chain. She enjoyed gardening, knitting, crocheting, baking, beading, sewing and spending time with her family. She gave generously to those in need by donating her projects to worthy causes.
Lucille enjoyed walking daily, shopping at Walmart and partaking in a warm cup of tea with friends. Family and friends could rely on something good to eat like her famous cinnamon rolls, pies or warm bread. Her home was always welcoming.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 67 years, Floyd L. Percival; siblings, Winnifred Clayberger, Ernest, Myron and Kenneth Sheesley; and her niece, Judy Swisher.
Lucille is survived by her loving daughter, Sandra "Sandy" Dewling and her husband, Charles “Buck” Dewling Jr.; cherished grandchildren, Charles L. Dewling III and Lisa R. Darrah and her husband, Mark Darrah; beloved great-grandchildren, Luke Darrah and Madison "Madi" Darrah; her caring niece, Janice Koller; and her great-nieces, Jennifer Lyons and Julie Ann Ciarcia.
Visitation will be held at Singleton Funeral & Cremation Services, P.A., on Thursday, March 6th, from 2 – 4 and 6 – 8 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on Friday, 10 AM, at Christ the King Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.
