Lynn Godsey

Lynn Dee Godsey, 63, of Glen Burnie, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, February 14, 2021. Lynn was born in Manhattan, Kansas on May, 11, 1957 to the late, Larry and LaVona Maley. She was a graduate of Tehran American School class of 1976, she later attended the University of Maryland in Munich Germany, earning her Bachelor’s degree. She worked for 15 years at Anne Arundel Community College as Team Lead in the Information Systems Department. Lynn was a proud member of the Juvenile Diabetes Association, this organization was very special to her. Growing up Lynn raised and showed Boston Terriers, she adored the Boston Terrier Breed. She also enjoyed going to antique malls with her husband, Ken. They also traveled together, taking trips to Myrtle Beach, and Las Vegas to visit her nephew and family. Mountain views were also a joy for Lynn.

Lynn is survived by her loving husband of 38 years, Kenneth, her sisters, Patti K. Maley and Dana J. Underwood, her nephews, Brian D. Lillard, Travis D. Lillard and their families. The family will be holding a memorial service for Lynn at a later date. They would request that you send a donation in honor of Lynn’s name to  JDRF - Type 1 Diabetes Research Funding and Advocacy
