Mae Baynes

On March 27, 2013, Mae Pratt Baynes of Severn Maryland passed away. She was the beloved wife of over 60 years to Owen K. Baynes; loving mother of Evelyn Starkey, Brian and Billy Baynes; cherished grandmother of five and great grandmother of one; dear sister to Nancy Boucher, Margie Beck and Douglas Pratt. She was preceded in death by her husband and a son, Owen K. Baynes, Jr. Mae was born in Meeker County Minnesota to the late John and Mae Pratt. She devoted her time to her children and grandchildren as a homemaker. She enjoyed sewing, cooking, arts and crafts and playing with her children and grandchildren. She also worked as a punch card machine operator in Washington DC where she met her husband Owen and as a preschool teacher assistant. She enjoyed traveling, camping and nature walks.
