Margaret Flamer

On December 11, 2011 Margaret Chase Flamer departed this life to be home with the Lord. She was born in Vienna, MD on July 2, 1949 to Mr. Robert Chase, Sr and Mrs. Missouri Chase. Mrs. Flamer received her undergraduate degree in Education at Bowie State College, and attended The Johns Hopkin's University and obtained a Master Degree in Education. Margaret taught at Woodside Elementary for more than 30 years. She was a devoted member of the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, and is a charter member of Omicron Gamma Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. of Glen Burnie. Mrs. Flamer enjoyed remodeling and decorating, traveling with her husband, working with children, and volunteering at N.C.E.O.N.
She is survived by her husband of 39 years Walter Flamer; her two children Shirelle Ripetta and her husband Charlie, and Damon Flamer and his wife Jessica; her grandchildren, Devin Faircloth-Rice, Donovan Flamer, and Julia Flamer; and her siblings, Robert Chase, Jr, Jessie Chase, and Olin Chase.
