Margaret Gellert

Margaret "Peggy" Gellert, 85, of Severna Park, passed away on September 3, 2015. Born in Toronto, Canada on August 25, 1930 to the late Harry and May Wagner, Peggy grew up in Baltimore and Ferndale before settling in Severna Park where she lived for over 60 years. Peggy worked for the family business, H & M Wagner & Sons, as office manager for almost 50 years. She was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church and a former member of Sweet Adelines. Peggy enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, walking, reading, dancing, vacationing in Stone Harbor, NJ with all of her family, and listening to a variety of music styles. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, William Gellert, and her husband, Henry J. Gellert.
Peggy is survived by her children, Christine Gellert, Michael Gellert, Robert Gellert, Donna Maher, and Barbara Verba; devoted niece Kass Wheeler; eight grandchildren, Rebecca, Heather, Erin, Brian, Amanda, Jessica, Katie and Bennett; two great-grandchildren, Brittany and Ryan; two brothers, Gardner "Butch" Wagner and George Wagner; a special friend, Pat Evans; and many nieces and nephews.
