Margaret Liberatore

Margaret Joan Liberatore, 86, of Linthicum, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 with her family by her side. Margaret was born in Baltimore, Maryland, on March 13th, 1936. She grew up in Linthicum with her parents and brothers and sisters, and was the youngest of the nine children. Margaret worked at Montgomery Wards, Sears, Anne Arundel County Schools, and MS Electronics. She was known by loved ones as "Marge", "Mag", "Aunt Mag", "Grandmom", "Nana", and "Mom". Margaret enjoyed a nice cup of tea, baking cakes and Italian cookies, chatting with anyone, watching cowboy shows, and especially loved spending time with her family.

Margaret is survived by her beloved children, Doris and Tom and daughter-in-law, Renee, her adored grandchildren, Brian (wife Sarah), Ashley, and Justin, her cherished great-grandchildren, Nathan and Christopher, her nieces and nephews, Becky Sue, Betty Ann, Judy, Carlos, Steven, Gloria, Kathy, Francine, and Gail, her many great-nieces and nephews and several great-great-nieces and nephews. Margaret was predeceased by Steve Neal, her companion of over 30 years, as well as her parents, Elizabeth and William Wharry, dear brothers and sisters, Billy, Henry, Carlos, Elizabeth, Johnnie, Doris, Charles, and George.

Her family will receive visitors at Singleton Funeral and Cremation Services, P.A., One 2nd Ave. SW, Glen Burnie, MD 21061, on Wednesday, June 15th, 2-4pm and 6-8pm. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Thursday, June 16th, at 10:30am, in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery in Violetville, MD.

The family invites memorial contributions in Margaret's name made to the American Cancer Society, the Alzheimer's Association, or the Dementia Society of America.
