Margaret Prendergast

On January 27, 2016, Margaret Mary Prendergast, 84, passed away at Morningside Assisted Living in Parkville. She was born in Baltimore, MD, on December 22, 1931, to the late Helen and John Clarke. Margaret graduated from The Catholic High School and Mercy Hospital School of Nursing. She went on to become a nurse at Mercy Hospital and the evening and night supervisor of nursing. She enjoyed arts and crafts, photography, and she volunteered at Birth Right in Glen Burnie.
Margaret was predeceased by her devoted husband of 60 years, Patrick O. Prendergast, her loving daughter, Maureen Prendergast, and her dear sister, Patsey Sammer . She is survived by her beloved children, Patrick Prendergast, Jr., Kathy Ensey, John Prendergast, Tim Prendergast, Mary Crossan, and Michael Prendergast; fifteen cherished grandchildren; and two loving siblings, Jean Young, and John Clarke.
