On March 7, 2013, Margaret Theresa Reeder, 82, resident of Sunrise Assisted Living in Severna Park; devoted wife of her late husband, George Reeder, Sr; beloved mother of George Reeder, Jr. and his wife Lynn, Michael Reeder and his wife Debbie, and Paula Reeder Robinson; loving grandmother of two sets of triplets, Jamie Milton, Michelle Coley and Michael Ciezobka (and their respective spouses, Mike, Jeremy and Amanda) and Nicole, Joshua and Jordan Robinson, and also of Shawn and April Reeder, Alex Hesson, Steven Reeder (and wife Meggin ), Erin Brown (and husband Rick) and Stephanie Dietz; and great grandmother of Brayden and Tyler Milton, Scott Reeder, William M'Goingle, and two more babies who just missed meeting her, Cali Lynn Ciezobka and Braxton Milton. Marge is also survived by many adoring nieces and nephews, by deeply devoted lifetime friends, and by new friends acquired later in life, all of whom will sorely miss her caring, generous and fun-loving spirit. A long-time resident of Glen Burnie Park, Marge and husband George also lived for a short time in Ocean City, eventually returning to this side of the bay in order to be closer to their grandchildren. Marge's outgoing personality made her wonderfully suited to her early vocation as a hairdresser, and brought a bit of sunshine to North Arundel Hospital (now Baltimore Washington Medical Center), where she was a frequent volunteer. She was known for her love of "bling" and for the many large, flashy rings that she regularly wore. She enjoyed traveling, dancing, playing Bunco, watching football, cooking her Italian specialties, and sharing time with her dear friends, but most of all she was a proud mother and grandmother, who enjoyed supporting her family in every way she could, whether by simply lending an ear or by cheering madly at their sporting events.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marge Reeder's name to Woodwise (a fund to help seniors afford assisted living care), c/o Wood Church, 611 Baltimore Annapolis Blvd., Severna Park, MD 21146, or to Hospice of the Chesapeake, www.hospicechesapeake.org.
